These are just free snippets of a few of many poems I have, they will be coming soon in e book forms this summer as well.
POEMS
Standing Tall
Standing tall, my music will set you free,
Rise and embrace the world, be who you want to be.
Standing tall, my voice only speaks,
When it rains in my world, the sky never leaks!
With the scent of strength and courage on my track,
I only see forward and never look back.
For every doubt, there's a shout,
for every desire there's a fire
At the end of every night, there is daylight!
A little less today, a little more tomorrow!
My notes make melodies, my chords strike promise,
But my beats will shake you from your seats.

Notebook 2 Air
From notebook into air, my writing now sings,
I take what I’ve written and give it wings.
From a poet's prayer to a singer's calls,
the same heart beating through two different walls.
I lift my poem from its paper bed and
hum the hidden melody, it never said.
what lived in stanzas finds a different breath,
with guitar strings and piano,
I awaken my words from a quiet death.

Unity, Joy, Peace, and Love
They’re the only keys to salvation this world has, just because...
Open up your heart, let the healing start,
salvation lives in every one of us, but we must take a part!
My lyrics, my poems, all come from the art in my heart.
The songs I write are the role of my soul.
I promise, if you read and listen to them, your blood will flow!
So, what are you waiting for? Let's go! Let’s go! Let it flow and flow!
Every hand we hold becomes a bridge across the pain.
Every tear we wipe is like mercy in the rain.
And when we stand together, no darkness can divide,
cause hope becomes a river when we walk side by side.

Lessons in Love
She taught me economics and gave me social skills
Then a knock on the door, I’m sure it’s her,
With a sigh of relief, I’m waking up from a dream
as I look through the peep ...
History written, in rhythm and rhyme,
teaching me the truths that stand through time.
Every word a spark, every glance a flame,
I’m learning the groove, I’m learning her name.
With the chalk on the board, the beat in my chest,
She showed me her lesson, and love was the test!

Stage Whispers
On the stage, there's a whisper, in the spotlights' footprint I stand
Inside me lies a fear I must learn to defeat
As my eyes open, I feel my heartbeat!
Pounding like a drum, frightened like a little old man
A whisper inside me says, "I can, I can!"
As my soul awakens, silent symphonies untangle,
I begin to listen, like The Star-Spangled Banner
In through my ears and into my head
These notes are born and not one torn.
The stage whispers to me, these musical symphonies that I embrace
But only when I’m on the stage with the spotlight on my face!
In this sacred moment, the stage is my canvas, and my voice the paint,
Music is my portrait that makes everything restraint.
I now surrender my melody, my rhythm, and my art
to the essence of my heart!
As I look into the spotlight, I see this portrait inside my head
The Stage Whispers to me and says,
"Music will knock that fear in me, forever dead"!
